Halo Automotive White Super LED 194 Bulb – Twin Pack Reviews
This is the 4th bulb I’ve purchased in an effort to match my HID lights. I read the reviews and everyone says they’re “white”, when in fact they are just like all the other LED technology bulbs I’ve purchased. They have a bluish tint that doesn’t match the very neutral white of my HID headlights. I wish more people on Amazon would give honest reviews. It seems to me that the company that created these bulbs (Halo Automotive) is probably logging on and creating positive reviews for their own products. An LED bulb on eBay for does the same thing as this overpriced bulb.
I have tried other LEDs but for the size versus output of light these have is great. Smaller than OEM 194 bulb but put out more light, stay a lot cooler, and have less draw on my vehicles electrical system.

ALL the DOT-legal high output bulbs achieve higher output by overdriving the filiments, which reduces bulb life. They have to do this because the DOT puts limits on wattage. The only exception are HID and HIR bulbs, which use new technology to get more light out of less watts.
According to Sylvania:

headlights are up to 50% brighter than standard halogen, they will have
a shorter life span when compared to our other products. Part number
9005SU will last for approximately 125 hours of “on time”, 200 hours for

If you want good lights on a 9006/9005 car, get some Toshiba 911 and 912 HIR bulbs. They’ll cost you about more than the Silverstars Ultras, put out more light… and last 5 times as long!
As I reach my 60th year on this earth, I have found my “night vision” while driving to be less then optimal! Because of that I wanted to have better lighting from my vehicle’s headlight’s. I also wanted to be in compliance within all 50 states while accomplishing this lighting task.
After a bit of investigation online I decided that the Sylvania 9006SU BP TWIN Silverstar Ultra, Twin Pack was the right choice for me.
I have not been disappointed in that choice. Everything touted about the lamps has been truthful, and I’m glad I did make the switch from the OEM lamps to these.

Nokya H11 JDM Yellow Light Bulbs Reviews
I enjoy the color of the JDM Yellow bulbs from Nokya. On Nokya’s packaging, they warn people about whether you’re buying Nokya bulbs or a fake item packaged like it; I know nothing about Nokya’s reputation, whether they are a top-of-line company or not. All I know is that I enjoy the bulbs in my fog lamps. I wish I could comment on bulb life, since some colored bulbs have a shorter life than clear bulbs – I’ve had enough experience about that – but this was a recent purchase to replace an after-market HID light kit using the same yellow 2700K temperature.
About my own fog lamps (where the * comes in): My lamps fit into my 2007 Honda Fit Sport edition. I have had OEM fog lamps on a Ford Explorer and Toyota 4Runner, but have never been happy with the focus of the beam! It’s almost as though some car companies make fog lamps only for style and not for function. The Honda Fit actually focuses the light into a very wide and narrow beam, allowing for easy aiming, and the Nokyas put out fabulous light – the combination for my use truly cuts into the fog that I recently drove through.
I purchased these for my 2008 volvo c30 for the fog lights. I bought them cuz the price was right. But now I regret getting them. I ran these in my fogs for about 3months and the bulbs actually melted my foglight housings. It cost me 0.00 to replace them. I did like the color of them but having to replace my fogs just wasn’t ideal. The bulbs got so hot they melted into the fog housings and couldn’t be removed. They also melted and burned the laminex covers I had on the glass fog lenses to prevent chipping. I suggest people stay away from these. They claim to save energy and whatnot but it seems they run over 55w due to the fact of all the heat. I hope this review saves someone the headache I had to endure.
